She holds a PhD from the University of Toronto in Laboratory Medicine and Pathobiology in Canada. She completed her fellowship in Experimental Therapeutics in Oncology at Northwestern University and Robert Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center in Chicago, Illinois, USA. Her second fellowship was in Commercialization at University Health Network in affiliation with Rotman School of Management in Toronto, Canada. Her team was awarded the best pitch on product commercialization for Lymphedema in Breast Cancer patients
