Dr. Joshi is a Surgical Pathologist with experience over 25 years at several prestigious Institutes. She is currently associated with KEM Hospital, Pune, India as a Consultant Histopathologist. She is a postgraduate guide and teacher for Diplomate of National Board Degree in Pathology.
She has led initiatives in executing and maintaining NABL accreditation for Histopathology Department. Dr. Joshi has worked on FDA clearance of automated immunohistochemistry image analysis for Breast cancers and Prostate cancer at Ohio State University, Columbus, USA. Previously, she was involved in the development of Digital Pathology Imaging and Telepathology solutions while acting as a consultant with various software and instrumentation companies in India, US, and Europe where she guided the development of AI tool to assist pathologists in grading, scoring, and prognostication of Prostate cancer cases, as well as AI, enabled computational analysis platform for diagnostics and prediction of response to drugs and therapy.
Dr. Joshi is a Life Member Indian Association of Practising Pathologists, Pune (IAPP) – since 1996 (IAPP) – Elected Treasurer 2012 -2018 and Secretary since 2019. She is a Member and Scientist in the Institutional Review Board of LAKSHYA – Society for Public Health, Education and Research conducting Indo-US health research studies in the field of HIV/AIDS in collaboration with the Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, USA.
